Shoring & Reshoring
We provide structural engineering services to contractors throughout the United States. Our extensive experience in a multitude of shoring, re-shoring, and anchorage systems allows us to provide safe and economical solutions. We understand these systems are critical to keeping your schedule and work efficiently to provide the right solution for the project.
Rigging & Lifting Planning
WRK Engineers provides practical, safe, and cost effective rigging design for a variety of heavy lifting applications. Our staff has a rich history of applying solid structural engineering expertise to a wide variety of structures. We welcome opportunities to apply our expertise in the design of complex rigging configurations.
Nonstructural Bracing
We provide structural engineering services for the design of nonstructural building systems for contractors, utilities, and municipalities throughout the United States. We understand the importance of mechanical, electrical, and piping systems in the operational performance of buildings. Our extensive experience in bracing of nonstructural systems allows us to provide constructible solutions that are sensitive to budget and time constraints.
Excavation Shoring
We provide excavation shoring structural engineering services for contractors throughout the United States. By listening carefully, understanding the unique characteristics of each project, and providing proactive communication, we provide constructible solutions that are sensitive to budget constraints. We understand the importance of the construction schedule and will work efficiently to meet the needs of the project.
Deep Foundations
Our deep foundation and geotechnical construction design services include gabion walls, augercast piles, driven piles, helical piles, micropiles, anchors/tiebacks, slab jacking, and polyurethane grouting. We have experience working with existing structures, as we also specialize in seismic strengthening, as well as new construction projects. We have designed under a variety of soil conditions from downdrag laden bay muds, highly expansive clays, areas of high liquefaction risk, poorly graded organic fills, high landslide hazard zones, potential scour and floor conditions, and ranges of solid rock.
It is good to have a resource with experience to help establish a proper and accurate analysis of the equipment so as to limit cost by getting the design right the first time… WRK is not simply asking us what we want them to do, but they are trying to understand what we want to do, and then use their experience to determine the best way to get there.
