WRK Engineers New Hire: Jacob Christensen

Jacob Christensen PE, SE, Project Engineer 

WRK Engineers welcomes Jacob Christensen to our team! Jacob comes to WRK from Parkin Engineering where he spent the past five years as a Project Manager and Senior Structural Engineer. Prior to that he worked as a Project Engineer/Manager for almost ten years at a small A/E firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jacob received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Gonzaga University in Spokane.

On the engineering side, Jacob enjoys creating new designs and also working with contractors and architects to solve the unique challenges found during remodels and upgrades to existing structures. While at WRK, Jacob will be working on commercial and residential building design, and providing structural support to contractors and others during construction.

When Jacob isn’t working, he enjoys camping and hiking with his family, traveling, sampling local microbrews, and following his favorite sports teams – Gonzaga University basketball teams, Seattle Seahawks, and Seattle Mariners. We’re happy to have Jacob join our team at WRK Engineers!
